Whilst touring Europe, the two magicians heard about the visually stunning show and paid a visit to the Dominion Theater. They had just been hired by Vegas Hotel magnate Steve Wynn to be the featured act at his new Casino 'The Mirage' and were looking for a Designer and visual theme for their new stage show which was going to be the centerpiece of Wynn's Hotel.

Napier was tapped to both design and co-direct 'Siegfried and Roy at The Mirage'
The show opened Feb. 1, 1990, and ran for 5,750 performances for an estimated 10.5 million patrons, it was performed for six shows weekly, for approx 45 weeks per year before capacity crowds of 1,504 paying an average of $110 each, including tax. 'Siegfried and Roy at The Mirage' generated about $44.6 million in annual pretax ticket revenue.
